How to Record Using a HDTV Digital Receiver

You can still record on your VCR. You will have to connect a digital HD TV receiver - converter box through the VCR to the TV you use so that the Digital HD receiver/recorder can receive the digital channels.

How you set up your equipment is :

-Connect antenna to HDTV converter box
-Then connect the Digital HD Receiver or converter box to VCR
-Hook up your VCR to TV
-Now you can still tape your favorite shows.

However, if you want to watch one channel and record another TV channel, you will need two digital converter boxes. One converter box will be needed to watch the channel, and the second HD digital converter box will be needed to hook up to your VCR for recording.
